EID-EL-FITR: TARABA PRP LEADER FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS,
TASKS TARABANS ON UNITY OF PURPOSE

The Leader of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in Taraba State, Engr Josiah Wasa Wukari has called on Muslim Ummah in Taraba State to sustain the spirit of peaceful existence and unity of purpose, as they join other Muslims across the globe to celebrate the feast of Eid-el-Fitr.
Engr Josiah Wasa Wukari, stated this is a Press release, entitled: My Eid-el-Fitr Goodwill Message to the Muslim Ummah in Taraba State, signed by him and made available to news men.
Engr Wasa Wukari hoisted the Flag of the PRP, as the Governorship Candidate of the Party in Taraba State in the recent 2023 general elections.
Engr Wasa eulogized the uncommon love and genuine affinity that is embedded between the Muslims, Christians and faithful of other religions, asserting that tolerance and love for one another has become a time honoured tradition that the people of Taraba State have happily lived with.
He commended the Leadership of the Muslim faithful in Taraba for creating a template of brotherhood and peaceful existence, in synergy with Christian leaders, to achieve the feat of tolerance and spiritual endowments, which are the sacred virtues that the state in known with.
“It’s on record that Taraba is a state with a history of religious tolerance. The people in my State has made their religious differences an insignificant factor in their socio-economic activities. This is a very interesting situation that needs to be encouraged at all times. And I wish to appreciate our religious leaders for upholding this tradition.
“I believe that this Fasting in the month of Ramadan, which our Muslim brothers have endured, with its attendant spiritual benefits, will also go a long way in fostering our common affinity and our unwavering resolve to live together peacefully, tolerating one another, even on the face of our human inadequacies, for the common of the state.
The PRP Governorship Candidate in the previous election counseled the Muslim Ummah in particular and the people of Taraba State in general, to keep fate with Project Taraba, emphasizing that better days are yet to come.
“With its abundant resources, including natural and human, Taraba state is already on the verged of occupying its pace in the comity of the most developed states in the country. All that is needed to achieve this position is a good push with the right key. I can assure you that it’s a matter of time. Already, I have the key. I’m waiting for the right time to apply the process.” He Stated.
Worried by the hardship which the people in the country and the Taraba State are passing through, Engr Wasa advised the people to increase their closeness to God and be prayerful, saying that in such perilous times, it’s the best place to get solace.
“Political Leaders in the country, at all levels, have failed the people. With their bad leadership and lack of focus they have put the people in the state of socio-political anomie. But I can assure you that all hope is not lost because, in another opportunity and at the right time, we will take charge and reset the template of progress and a better future for all,” He said.
