CRC-N President Declares 2024 Week of Sacrifice Open.

President of Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria, CRC-N, Rev Isaiah Magaji Jirapye, has opened the 2024 annual week of sacrifice programme of the church.
Rev Jirapye who made the declaration said the theme for this year’s CRC-N Week of Sacrifice is “The Lord is Mighty in Restoration”
The CRC-N week of sacrifice is an annual programme commemorating the establishment of the church and the sacrifices and labour of the Heroes past in the church today.
The 2024 week of sacrifice open which commenced on Monday the 22nd will last to Sunday 28th, July, 2024 the Church’s President said.
Rev Dr Isaiah Magaji Jirapye, who is also the CAN Chairman of Taraba State, said the programme will feature bible teachings, evangelism and special prayers among others.
The clergy noted that the World is in deep challenges, occasioned by social injustices, and economic difficulties hence the need to build God’s church especially in times like these.
He enjoined members and believers to pay close attention to all exhortations, teachings, and other activities that will featured at the programme and be active in carrying the teachings out.
He re-emphasized that all CRC-N Uniforms or any clothing material with CRC-N logo will be used by all members within the week and especially on Wednesday.
Still speaking, Rev Dr Isaiah Magaji Jirapye recalled the recent killing of the third class chief of Chanchanji HRH Allhaji Tanimu Kunbiya and his son Yusuf along along Takum Chanchanji road and condoled with the People of Chanchanji, Takum and the immediate family.
He called on the Government and various intelligence agencies to ensure that the perpetrators of the dastardly act are caught and dealt with accordingly.
The CRC-N President also called on government to provide Farmers with enough security to ensure that farming activities did not suffer threats from insecurity.
