Breaking: Taraba state mourns NLC Chairman
The Chairman of Nigerian Labour Congress NLC, Taraba state, Mr Peter Gambo is dead.
Gambo died in the early hours of Wednesday at the state’s Specialist hospital Jalingo.
The State Commissioner of Health Dr Innocent Vakkai who confirmed the death revealed that, contrary to some erroneous media reports, Gambo died of diabetes and not COVID-19.
Vakkai also noted that Mr Gambo had been on admission at the state’s Specialist hospital Jalingo and he was tested of COVID-19 but his result came back negative.
Peter Gambo, until his death, was serving his second term as NLC Chairman, Taraba State and the General overseer of the Christ Glorious Army Church.
