Muri Emirate honours Barr Tsa-asen with traditional title of JAKADAN Jalingo

Muri Emirate Council, Taraba State, has honoured Barrister Tsa-asen Luka Agbu, Personal Assistant to the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas with the traditional title of JAKADAN Jalingo
At the coronation ceremony of the legal luminary which took place at the popular Afolahan Square Jalingo, the Galadima Muri, District head of Jalingo, Alh Umar Tukur Abba Tukur who conducted the coronation, stressed the good works of Barrister Tsa-asen and summed up that he deserved honour from the Muri Emirate Council to encourage him to do more
The Galadima Muri congratulated Barrister Tsa-asen on his new title and encouraged traditional leaders and title holders across the state to always serve as unifying forces, supporting the government to improve the well being of the people in the state
Taking turns at the occasion, dignitaries commended the Muri Emirate Council for taking a most commendable decision of conferring the title of JAKADAN Jalingo on Barr Luka Agbu, describing the decision as an effective unifying factor
Speaking at the occasion, the chairman, People’s Democratic Party PDP, Taraba State, Alh Abubarkar Bawa, lauded the humility and peaceful disposition of Barr Tsa-asen Luka Agbu, describing his new title as well deserved
Bawa who congratulated the legal luminary on his new title, expressed confidence that he would continue to use his positions to encourage a united Taraba irrespective of “our different religion, ethnic and social backgrounds”.
The PDP chairman, lauded the developmental strides of Governor Kefas and cautioned social media handlers who had continue to use their platforms to paddle destructive criticisms of the administration to desist from the fruitless venture, as no amount of criticism would ever wipe the good works of the governor which are already in the public domain
In a remark, the celebrant, Barrister Luka Agbu appreciated the State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, the Muri Emirate Council and the entire people of the State for the honour done him.
“On behalf of my family, I want to most sincerely appreciate the District Head of Jalingo, Alh (Dr) Umar Tukur Abba Tukur and most specifically the entire Muri Emirate Council, for finding me worthy to be conferred with the title of JAKADAN Jalingo
“I wish to also extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas for recognizing me as his Personal Assistant and for creating an enabling environment for us to have a glamorous coronation Ceremony
I equally want to appreciate all the government functionaries and traditional leaders who have suspended their tight schedules to be here with us all through. As you have honoured me today, may Almighty God continue to honour you and bless you with His grace, mercy and favour”. He said.
Barr Tsa-asen further stressed the importance of peace and encouraged the people of the State to continue to support the peace moves and good works of Governor Kefas to ensure peace, harmony and tolerance across the state.
