He said the internal wranglings in the Taraba State chapter of the APC would not allow the party to make any meaningful impact in the state as far as 2023 general election is concerned, hence his decision to dump the party.

“As I speak to you, the party has no gubernatorial Candidate in Taraba State because of the internal wranglings. We came together and build the house, APC in Taraba State. I served the party as National Deputy Coordinator in 2019 and I was the gubernatorial Candidate of the party in 2019..

” But how can you stay in a house you build for a long time and somebody who came in after two days decided to chase you out of the house? That is the situation that is going on in the party. The party has loosed its grip. There is no longer justice and fairness and thus, unity is now better than imagined in the party. So for me, a house I build with my hands can not collapse on me. I left the house and I have found a better house in which all members are happy with themselves”. He stated.
