Accordingly, the Returning Officer said the candidates for the Presidential Election would determine their fate only when the party combined all the results from other states at the National Office of the party at Abuja before the final declaration would be made.

Addressing throng of supporters that turned up for the election shortly after he was declared winner and returned as the Taraba State candidate of the PRP for the 2023 Gubernatorial Elections , Engr. Wukari Wasa pledged that his party would esterblish a government that would focus on development in Taraba State if elected at the General Elections.

Wasa who appreciated the delegates for electing him as the party’s candidate,
said he would follow the ideologies of the founder of the party, Aminu Kano, which according to him are capable of lifting Taraba State out of its backwardness.

“We are going to ensure that we transformed the educational, Health and Agricultural Sectors of the state to the most enviable position. We will embark on ranching that will export meat from Taraba to the outside World. I always tell my Fulani brothers that a time will come when our meat will be the most patronized in the whole World. The time has come.

“Our People are too tired of others looting their wealth to acquire properties worth billions of naira from outside the country. They are tired of been considered as second class citizens in their land.

“Taraba State is the most beautiful and most lucky state that is endowed with untapped natural resources in this country. I want to assure you that if we are elected, we will not go to Dubai. We will rather make Dubai out of Taraba State to attract other investors.

“So as far as politics is concerned, weather other Political parties like it or not, PRP has landed in the state with a key to unlock the development of the State”. Engr. Wasa assured.
