TSU former bursar hails KYDA over move to unite Kaka people

The former Bursar and famous religious leader, Dan- Iya Sardauna, Dr. Victor Fallack, has applauded the efforts of the Kaka Youth Development Association under the leadership of Mr Samson Chenor for the various efforts taken to reunite the Kaka people whom he said had witnessed alot of setback for decades owing to the disunity among them.
Dr. Fallack gave these words of appreciation while interacting with journalists at the occasion of the 30 Million Naira Appeal Fund Launching held at Joly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo recently.
He noted that the Kaka people who are located in Gashaka and Mambilla plateau of Sardauna Local government Area had been long engulfed in several differences that gradually destroyed the unity of the people and set them against each other thus, lowering down the pace of development of the people.
Fallack who was the chairman of the the occasion of the 30 Million Naira Appeal Fund Launch, commended the youth for taking the bull by its horns to get rid of a challenge that had bedeviled the people for decades.
“The Kaka youths have set a new record by uniting the Kaka people who have always been rocked by crises. We the leaders in the land have failed.
“Am saying this with all sense of sincerely and humility that we the elders have failed but am personally consoled by what the youths have done today. We are proud of them and we are praying for them to succeed in this noble movement”. He stated.
While encouraging the youth to remain resilient, steadfast and committed to the movement, Dr. Fallack also urged them to intensify efforts and reach out to all elders and some of the youths lagging behind to enable them key into the vision.
He noted that what the Kaka youth had begun, was the most effective way of harnessing the strength in the people’s diversity.
The elder stateman pointed out that the youth must have to ignore some elements of the community especially among them, who do not mean well for the land and urged them to stand firm at all times, assuring that, they would support them overwhelmingly to succeed.
Meanwhile, the people had gathered at the Jolly Nyame Stadium Jalingo for the purpose of fund raising to enable them build a Kaka Center in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital as part of the move to bring the people together.
