Taraba: INEC presents certificate of return to Gov-elect, Kefas Agbu.

Sequel to the March 18th Gubernatorial elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Wednesday presented certificates of return to the Taraba State Governor-elect, Lt. Col Kefas Agbu Rtd, his Deputy, Alh. Aminu Alkali as well as elected members of the State House of Assembly.
The presentation was made by the Resident Commissioner of INEC, Umar Mukhtar Gajiram at the INEC headquarters in Jalingo, the state Capital.
In his speech after the presentation, the Governor-elect, Kefas Agbu commended the efforts of INEC during the polls, describing their performance as an excellent one.
KefasAgbu also stressed his commitment to making Taraba State Nigeria’s best through reviving commerce, industry, education, health and agricultural sectors.
“I want to commend the efforts of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in ensuring credible elections and good conduct throughout the exercise.
INEC has done very well and we couldn’t be more impressed.
“As elected governor, I pledge to revive the educational, agriculture sector, as well as health sector as promised during our campaign rallies. We will also do all we can to prioritize the safety of Tarabans” He said.
The Governor elect emphasised that he will not go back on his campaign promises, but will fulfill them with the support of the people because it is a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
