Several killed as terrorists bomb cattle market in Taraba.

Several persons have lost their lives and many injured as terrorists bomb a local drinking joint in the popular Iware Market in Ardo Kola Local Government Area of Taraba state on Tuesday.
Confirming the incidence to Worldview Correspondent, the Spokesperson of the Taraba State Police Command, DSP Abdullahi Usman said that no fewer than six persons have died as at the time this report was filed while many others are in the hospital receiving medical attention.
Abdullahi said that more men have been deployed to the area to restore normalcy and ensure that the culprits are apprehended and brought to book.
“All hands are on deck to find out in details what lead to the explosion and the persons involved in such a terrible act.
“We have engaged the intelligence officers and other relevant agencies to dig into the matter and give us results and i assure you that we will get to the bottom of it” He said.
However, an eyewitness told our correspondent in confidence that no fewer than 15 persons were killed by the explosion and various degrees of injuries sustained by others.
Recall that the state government has been taking steps to control the influx of foreign elements into the state, calling on monarchs to regulate the movement of strange persons into their localities.
Activities of terrorists have however continued to be on the rise in some areas of the state in recent times and the issue is becoming a matter of concern to citizens as death tolls continue to rise as a result of these activities.
