Taraba lawmaker debunks publications on party membership regret

The Member representing Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency and Southern Taraba Senatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress for the 2023 general elections, Honourable Danjuma Usman Shiddi MP, has described as fake, baseless, misleading and malicious, the publication circulating in PUNCH online of Tuesday January 24, 2023 and some other online platforms with a rider: JUST IN: Confusion in Taraba State as Hon. Danji Usman Shidi(sic) regrets joining APC.
In a press release signed by the Director, Media and Strategic Communication of his Senatorial Campaign Council, Tanko Kyen-Emoh Danjuma Ambi-Usi Jr. Esq and issued to journalists, the law maker noted with dismay that the said publication, remains a figment of the imagination of those behind it and put its authors to strictest proof of same.
The release further emphasized that as a loyal and law abiding Party man, Honourable Danjuma Usman Shidi, been a sterling, phenomenal and quintessential representative of his people, has been busy helping to build and consolidate on the gains of the APC in Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency in particular and Taraba State at large and wishes to be allowed to remain focus.
It added that the law maker had made valuable contributions to the party even at the national level, a monumental feat he was seeking to replicate in Southern Taraba Senatorial District and bring home more dividends of legislative representation to the people.
“We wish to state emphatically that this lame narrative is fake, false, baseless and ludicrous.
“We understand they resorted to their regular trademark of spewing litany of lies from the pit of hell, cheap blackmail, name calling and red herring theatrics in a futile attempt to obfuscate and hoodwink soaring popularity of the Lawmaker and the APC on the true situation in the party in Taraba State and as laid bare by Hon. Danjuma.
“For the records, Hon. Danjuma should not and cannot be used as a face or front to hide their monumental failures and mischief!
“We, therefore, urge both the discerning and unsuspecting public, not to give any credence to this fake, false, baseless and ill-motivated publication that remains a lie from the pit of hell and a figment of the individual and collective imaginations of the authors.
“Just like light has always overcome darkness, the truth and time shall vindicate Hon. Danjuma Usman Shiddi!” The release reads in part.
