6 Brigade Troops Recover Arms Cache in Taraba State.

In a significant operation, troops of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army (NA) have recovered a substantial cache of arms and military equipment in Wukari, Taraba State.
The operation, according to the Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Lt Umar Mohammed conducted on September 6, 2025, was based on credible intelligence report.

The Brigade said the report suggested that a notorious armed criminal, Mr. Terhemen Nzagha, also known as “Full Fire,” was harboring suspected armed criminals at Sabon-Gida Leke, Ikyaior village, along the Benue-Taraba border.

Although the suspects were not found at the location, the troops recovered a range of military-grade equipment, including AK-47 and FN rifle parts, magazines, and other accessories.
The recovered items include: 5 Special Forces face caps, 3 AK-47 magazines, 3 FN rifle magazines, 3 rifle slings, 2 FN rifle breech blocks and slides, 1 AK-47 firing mechanism.

Others recovered items were, 2 FN rifle stocks, 2 FN rifle springs, 1 mini-telescopic sight, 1 AK-47 rifle butt, 1 FN rifle bag, 1 badminton bag, 2 charms and 1 flashlight.
The Commander of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, commended the troops for their swift response and high sense of professionalism.

He reassured the people of Taraba State that the Brigade will remain vigilant and proactive in sustaining ongoing operations aimed at ridding the State of criminal elements.
General Uwa also called on members of the public to continue to support security agencies with credible and timely information, stressing that such collaboration remains vital in consolidating peace and security across Taraba State and its environs.
