Taraba PDP Elections, Kefas Agbu emerges PDP Chairman Taraba state.

The People’s Democratic Party had on Wednesday held it’s elections and inaugurated the new party leadership where Comr. Kefas Agbu emerged the new PDP Chairman.
The occasion which took place at the Jolly Nyame stadium Jalingo, had in attendance many dignitaries, among which are, His Excellency Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku,His Deputy, Engnr Haruna Manu, Outgoing PDP Chairman, Hon Victor Bala Kona, Speaker, Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon Joseph Albasu Kunini, Members of the House of the Assembly, Commissioners, Chairmen, just to mention a few.
The Delegates for each Local Government voted accordingly and even though there was an overwhelming crowd, it was conducted in accordance to Covid19 guidelines.
In his speech, Gov Ishaku thanked everyone for their due support and cooperation during the elections even though the elections was supposed to hold earlier than now.
Ishaku who congratulated the New PDP Chairman described him as a “victorious Victor”. He equally charged the newly elected excos to carry out their duties diligently devoid of bias.
He also charged citizens to continue to abide by the covid19 guidelines as the pandemic is not yet over.
