Governor Agbu Kefas Distributes Relief Materials to Over 400 victims of crises

Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas has distributed relief materials to over 400 Internally Displaced Person’s victims of crises in Badawa Karim Lamido Local Government Area.
The beneficiaries are Fulani and Bandawa people who recently encountered a crisis in their communities in Karim Lamido Local Government Area and are currently in IDPs camps in Lau a neighbouring Lau Local Government Area
The relief materials were distributed by the Executive Secretary of Taraba State Emergency Management Agency, Dr. Echuseh Audu at Lau Local Government Council Seceretariat, speaking the SEMA Boss said, the distribution of the relief materials is in line with Governor Kefas administration’s agenda to provide adequate relief to victims of natural disasters in the state
She noted that Governor Kefas prioritizes peaceful coexistence among communities to ensure democratic dividends reach the grassroots and encourage them to renounce bitterness and foster harmony across tribal and religious lines for sustainable peace for development to thrive.
According to Dr. Audu Governor Agbu Kefas is committed to ending internal conflicts, as security operative are on top of the situation to ensure all citizens enjoy peace and harmony in their area.
In a gesture of appreciation, the SEMA team visited the palace of the District Head of Lau, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim, to thank him for his efforts in supporting the displaced victims. Hajara Suleiman, who represented the beneficiaries, thanked Dr. Agbu Kefas for his prompt intervention and prayed for his administration to succeed.
