TAGIS To Commence Data Capturing in Ardokola local government area

Taraba State Geographic Information System, is set to commence data capturing exercise in two wards of Ardokola local government area of Taraba State.

The Programme Manager Surveyor Mark Joshua Ma’aku disclosed this during a town hall meeting with traditional leaders in Ardokola local government area.

The town hall meeting took place at Zee Sports Hall in Kufai ATC Jalingo.

Speaking at the town hall meeting the Programme Manager, Surveyor Mark Joshua Ma’aku, told the gathering that the state government came up with the organ to ensure overall development of all nook and cranny of the state.

According to him data capturing exercise in Ardokola will take place in Lamido Borno and Jauro Yinu.

He solicited for the support and cooperation of the traditional leaders and critical stakeholders to enable Men and officers of the agency carry out their data capturing exercise without hitches.

He added that the enumerators of the agency will move from house to house and asked people questions on some of their landed properties.

According to him, the programme has kicked off earlier in some local government areas of Taraba State and has several benefits for the local people as it will address problem of land grapping and dispute among other benefits.

Participants at the meeting which are traditional leaders took turns to asked questions on gray areas and answers were provided.
