Speaker expresses satisfaction with transformation level of Taraba @t 31

As the people of Taraba State celebrate 31st anniversary of the state, the
Speaker, Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Prof. Joseph Albasu Kunini (MP), has affirmed that the state is one of the fastest growing, model and most transformed states in Nigeria.
The speaker in a Press release issued to journalists in the state, on behalf of the Principal Officers, Honourable Members, Clerk, Management and Staff of the State House of Assembly, stated that there was no doubt that 31 years ago, Jalingo, the State Capital which was best described as a glorified state capital, had now become a modern sprawling metropolis, just as the entire state had been transformed into a fast growing and model State in the federation.
He congratulated His Excellency, Captain of the Rescue Mission, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Haruna Manu, the Chief Judge of the state, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff Government House Administration, the Head of Service, Members of the State Executive Council, caretaker chairmen of the 16 Local Government Areas and the chairmen of the two Special Development Areas, traditional rulers and the entire people of Taraba State.
The release which described the 31st anniversary of the state as a historic occasion also wished Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku and his amiable wife, Barr. Dr. Anna Mbasughun Ishaku, God’s guidance and protection as well as greater wisdom, knowledge and courage to pilot the affairs of the State to an enviable heights.
Part of the release reads: “We in the State House of Assembly associate with His Excellency’s people-oriented developmental projects and programmes that have placed Taraba State on the path of peace, economic integration and development.
“Therefore, as we celebrate the 31st anniversary of the State, we wish our dynamic Governor and his amiable wife God’s guidance and protection, greater wisdom, knowledge and courage to pilot the affairs of the State to enviable heights.
