NAWOJ Distributes Grains to Muslim Sisters, calls for intense prayer for NAWOJ,Taraba

The Chairperson,Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Taraba State Chapter Comr. Janet Audu Nyajon has distributed grains,sugar and beverages to Muslim Sisters and called for intense prayer for NAWOJ and Taraba State.

The distribution which took place at the NUJ Press Center in Jalingo the Taraba State Capital,gathered Muslim Sisters from all the Media chapels in the state.

Speaking during the event Comr.Janet said,Ramadan is a month of blessings and sacrifice, adding that it was important for the Association to identify and support her Muslim Sisters during this exercise.

She however,emphasized the need to pray for the Executive Governor of Taraba State Dr. Agbu kefas and his wife Mrs. Agyin Kefas including all the female Commissioners as well as NAWOJ and the entire people of Taraba State.

Also speaking during the event Mrs. Lydia Wilson, applauded the chairperson for her kind gesture stating that no one has ever demonstrated such in the history of Taraba NAWOJ.

She further encouraged her to continue with the act of sacrifice for the Association.

Speaking on behalf of the Muslim Sisters,the Assistant Director of Programmes, Taraba State Broadcasting Service (TSBS) Hajiya Amina Abudllahi, appreciated the Chairperson for the show of love/solidarity and prayed God to grant her more strength and wisdom function more effectively/efficiently.
