COAST hosts TETFUND Officers,finalizes arrangements on enrollment

College of Agriculture, Science and Technology Jalingo under the Leadership of the current Provost Dr. Yakubu Ali Garjila, played host to Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Officers who were earlier at the College on verification and assessment tour.
Speaking after the visit the Provost disclosed that the TETFUND visit recorded huge success as all arrangements to enroll the College in TETFUND for onward partnership were finalized.
He stated further that the College Master plan was submitted to the Team alongside other documents adding that the School will start benefiting from TETFUND intervention projects this year hopefully.
“We received a letter from TETFUND that they would be sending their Team to our school for verification/assessment to ascertain the authenticity of the proposal we submitted to them earlier.
Fortunately, we received the delegation on Monday and took them round the College and equally submitted list of our programmes as well as students which qualifies us to be enrolled in TETFUND.
“After touring round the school, I presented the College Master Plan to the Team which they will in turn, submit to the Board Of Trustee (BOT) which is the highest decision making body of TETFUND to finally enroll our School and by the grace of God, we would start befitting from intervention projects this year,” he said.
The Provost however, expressed gratitude to TETFUND for acting swiftly and suing for more collaborations.
He equally thanked His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas for extending his kind gesture to the College stressing that his unwavering commitment to promote standard of education/learning in the State is top notch and commendable.
“I want to appreciate the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas for his generosity to our School. His passion in developing the State across all sectors especially education, is laudable.
“I equally thank my management Team including all Staff and Students of the College for their unalloyed support and cooperation,” Garjila.
