Chief Gbaa Tella JP receives new CTS National President, gives him Royal blessings

Ter Tiv Bali the II and Gum Begha U Tiv Taraba His Royal Highness, Zaki Dr.David Gbaa Tella JP on behalf of the Tiv Traditional council, Elders and the entire Tiv people of Taraba State received the Community of Tiv Students (CTS) newly elected National President Comr. Mark Elias Tortondo at his Palace in Bali town, Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State and bestowed Royal blessings upon him.
The Royal father in his remarks, Congratulated Comr. Mark on his victory and applauded Community of Tiv Students (CTS) World Wide for finding him worthy to serve them as President adding that, their show of solidarity/support is a reflection of unity,love and strict adherence to the Tiv sacred principle of sharing ,’Ya Na Angbian’.
He equally expressed gratitude to Stakeholders and all who ensured that the election which produced Mark Elias of Taraba State University, Jalingo as President was not just free and fair but , credible.
“On behalf of the Tiv Traditional council and the entire Tiv people of Taraba State, I congratulate you and the CTS Taraba for bringing home this victory. I also extend my regards/heartfelt appreciation to the Governor of Benue State,His Excellency Revd Fr.Dr.Hyacinth Alia,his Taraba State counterpart,His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas, Stakeholders and CTS worldwide for all the supports, cooperation and love, “he said.
He however, called on Tiv students across the globe to continue support Mark and his Cabinet to enable them succeed even as he promised to on behalf of the Council, give them the needed support and cooperation.
“I urge you all students and stakeholders to give Mark and his Cabinet the needed cooperation and support because the success of their administration largely depends on you and all of us. On our part, we will always give you our supports. Stay humble and seek wisdom and counsel, ” he advised.
Earlier in his remarks, the CTS National President Comr Mark,thanked God for seeing him through the struggle victoriously,commending the Students/Stakeholders for reposing great confidence in him regardless of everything.
He further appreciated Tiv Traditional Council,his parents and CTS Taraba for honoring him in a grand style and pledged to serve the interest of his fellow students to the best of his ability even as he sued for more support, unity and cooperation.
