9 construction firms bid for Taraba ACReSAL Project

Nine (9) local and international construction companies today, submitted bids for the construction of Ndibam Gully erosion control project in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The firms include;Tundis Nig. Ltd, Suefanuti Stocks Hapel Ltd, Zhonghao Oversea Construction Engineering Company Ltd, Yusal Teleview Nig. Ltd.
Others are; Bozeal Ltd, Havage Farabin JV, CGC Nig. Ltd, JV Bauhaus & ICCO and DEC 1132 Global Services Ltd, respectively.
Speaking during the Bid opening programme, the Honorable Commissioner of Environment and Climate change/Steering Committee Chairperson for Taraba ACReSAL, Hajia Aishat T. Barde, stated that the project aimed to restore degraded lands around the Ndibam community of Takum LGA which has suffered severe erosion challenges over the years.
She on behalf of the the Government of Taraba State and her Team, assured the Bidders of transparency, fairness and accountability in the entire process.
On their parts, the Bidders appreciated ACReSAL Project for giving them the opportunity to participate, adding that they will accept the outcome in good faith.
In his vote of thanks, the State Project Coordinator, Dr Yakubu Clement Giwa, appreciated the Bidders for their conduct and participation while assuring them that, the process would be fair in line with the rules of engagement.
