Wukari LG, Jukun Groups Carpets Benjamin Bako Over Calls For Suspension Of Political Activities In Jukun Land

The Wukari local government council in collaboration with the Jukun Youths Cultural Developments Association, Jukun Women Developments Association and Concerned Jukun Elders, have condemned the call by Mr Benjamin Bako, the self acclaimed President, Jukun Development Association for the suspension of political activities in the Jukun land until the new Aku Uka is properly settled in the original palace.

The group spoke on Tuesday in a Press Conference held at Patience Event Centre, Wukari.

In the Press message jointly signed by the Vice Chairman of wukari local government Hon Tijani Sale Angyu, President Jukun Youths Cultural Developments Association, Com Nafinji Aboki and President Jukun Women Developments Association, Madam Chibaki Haruna, the groups however described the Press release issued recently by Mr Benjamin Bako as a display of ignorance and urged all Jukun sons and daughters to disregard Mr Benjamin Bako’s call for suspension of political activities in their land as it was a national exercise.

They also faulted Mr Bako’s claim that Gov DDI didn’t resettled the new Aku to the palace, saying that the Governor has since put in place machinery for the renovation of the palace befitting to the status of the Aku.

The group however advised Mr Benjamin Bako to guard against putting to public domain frivolous and misguided informations, capable of misleading the society.

The group urged Mr Benjamin Bako to stay clear of dragging the name of the Paramount ruler of kwararafa kingdom to score cheap political interest.

They described the Monarch as peace loving and respected traditional ruler who always supports the Governor in all his developmental activities.
