Taraba new CP hosts stakeholders, sues for harmonious working relationship

As part of activities commemorating the National Police Day, the Taraba State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Bretet Emmanuel Simon psc(+), the new Commissioner of Police deployed to Taraba State, has host stakeholders to cement harmonious working relationship

Addressing throng of stakeholders who turned up for the occasion, the commissioner of police stressed the importance of police working in synergy with stakeholders and other security agencies in any given society

In his words, “Stakeholders are very important set of persons in any given society. When they effectively collaborate and synergize with us, we will be able to extract useful and timely information from the various communites that will enable our men to respond effectively

“Constructive and responsible collaborations with stakeholders of the state will go along way to help the police and other security agencies to push out criminal elements operating in the state to allow people sleep with their two eyes closed”. He added

The Commissioner encouraged stakeholders to always have a firm grip of their various communites and provide useful and timely information that would enable security agencies process them into intelligence to ensure that the people of the state go to bed with their two eyes closed

While responding, stakeholders took turns to appreciate the Commissioner for deeming it fit to bring them together for such a crucial session, pledging that they would preach the message to their members and communites to enable them work harmoniously with the Commissioner to secure Taraba State

Obida Bitrus of the PDP secretariat and Hon Kuria Jafarta, Taraba State IPAD chairman in their separate speeches, described the development as an effective means of getting rid of criminal elements and securing the state in a less stressful manner

They equally pledged to take back the message of collaboration to their members and assured that they would continue to work collaboratively with the police and other security agencies in the state to sustain peace and order to enable people go about their normal businesses

Our reporter gathered that the the occasion drew chairmen and representatives of different political, traditional and religious groups including members from CAN and Muslim Council among other.

Recall that the Taraba State new Commissioner of Police CP Samuel Bretet Siomon, took over from CP Ukachi Peter Opara as the 31st Commissioner of police in the state//.
