Taraba Gov. Agbu Kefas to Begin Reconstruction of Collapsed Namnai Bridge in March.

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has assured motorists that reconstruction work on the collapsed Namnai Bridge will commence in March.
The governor made this announcement during a site visit to assess the damage caused by the bridge’s collapse.
He said Craneburg Construction Company will mobilize to the site next month to evaluate the damage and implement temporary measures to facilitate movement.
However, the company will first create a temporary passage to ease movement before commencing the full reconstruction of the bridge.
Recall that the bridge had collapsed in August 2024 and since then, motorists and commuters have had a hard time accessing some parts of southern Taraba because the Namnai Bridge links the state capital to other parts of southern Taraba.
