Taraba APC: Our issues are internal, we will sort things out- Running mate

In spite of the eye brows raised by some aspirants for the governorship position under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Taraba State over the emergence of Distinguish Senator Emmanuel Bwacha as the Candidate of the Party for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Taraba State, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the party, Amb. Iliyasu Kirim, has assured the party loyalists and the people of Taraba State that the party is still intact as all the Skirmishes are internal issues which would eventually be resolved in the course of time.
Amb. Iliyasu Kirim, gave this assurance in Jalingo while addressing journalists shortly after he returned from Abuja where he was nominated as the deputy Governorship candidate of the party for the 2023 gubernatorial election in the state.
The Deputy Governorship candidate who was recieved in the state by an unprecedented number of people who defiled the heavy rain in the state, also assured the people of Taraba State that a new Taraba State would emerged after his party’s victory at the election.
“APC in Taraba State is still intact. The little Skirmishes you heard about are normal things. They are internal or party issues that will be sorted out in the course of time. We are one in the party working as a family to take over Taraba State comes 2023”.
“We are are working on the psychology of our people so that they will not continue to tour the part of dogmatism where many religious and community leaders pin the people down to their opinions and beliefs of religious, tribal and regional sentiments at the detriment of our collective gains”. He stated.
Amb. Kirim who lamented the poor state of living of the people in the state owing to poor leadership style of the PDP led administration, reiterated that the only option left for the people of the State was to elect his Principal, Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Bwacha whom he said has at his palm, all the challenges of the state and the appropriate and effective solutions to tackle them.
He revealed that when elected into power, his party would restore peace in the state and provide a level plane ground, where every Taraban would have a sense of belonging to enable him or her contribute maximally to the development of the state.
“We will ensure that we narrowed the gap in terms of religious differences, ethnic differences and sectional difference”. He stated.
He called on the aggrieved members of the party to tour the part of peace, eschew bitterness and see reason while they would join hands with his Principal and the party in general to achieve the desired victory in the 2023 general elections.
While appreciating the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha for chosen him as his running mate, Amb. Kirim stated that it was by divine arrangement that the former minority leader of the Senate choose him as his running mate and pledged that, he would work together with him to lift the state up.
Kirim further urged the teaming supporters to ensure that they get their PVC ready, as it is the only way through which they could vote his party into power comes 2023.
Until Amb Iliyasu Idris Kirim became the Taraba State Deputy Governorship Candidate on the platform of APC, he was serving as the Director General, Bwacha Campaign Organisation.
