TABBITAL PULAKU TO HOST KEY LECTURE ON FARMERS–HERDERS PEACEBUILDING IN TARABA

The Tabbital Pulaku International Association has announced plans to host a one-day public lecture aimed at strengthening peaceful coexistence between farmers and herders in Taraba State. The event is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Patient Event Center in Jalingo.

Organised under the leadership of the President of the association, Dr. Malam Isa Yuguda, former governor of Bauchi State, and the Taraba State Chairman, Alhaji Bello Mbella, the programme will focus on the theme: “Promoting Peaceful Coexistence Between Farmers and Herders in Taraba State.” The lecture will also feature the formal inauguration of the newly constituted Local Government Executives of the association.

Governor of Taraba State His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, will serve as the chief host, while several prominent traditional rulers and national officers of Tabbital Pulaku International are expected to attend as Special Guests of Honour. They include the Emir of Jajere in Yobe State and National Patron, His Royal Highness Alhaji Hamza Buba;
National Coordinator Dr. Abubakar Girei;
National Youth Leader Shu’aibu Pullo mo Kosam; Deputy National Chairman Alhaji Auwal Gonga;
Lamdo Gashaka, His Royal Highness Alhaji Zubairu Hamman Gabdo Sambo;
Galadima of Muri, Alhaji Tukur Abba Tukur (Tummunga Pulaku); and
Sarauniyar Pulaku, Hajiya Aisha Bashir Ardo.

In a statement issued in Jalingo, Alhaji (Dr.) Bello Mbella urged Fulani herders within and outside Taraba State to participate actively in the programme, expressing optimism that the initiative will enhance dialogue, promote mutual understanding, and advance lasting peace in the state.
