NAWOJ Felicitates with Muslim Faithful on Eid El Kabir.

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the event of Eid El Kabir.
The goodwill was contained in a Press statement signed by the National Chairperson of NAWOJ, Aisha Ibrahim and the National Secretary of NAWOJ, Wasilah Ladan, which was made available to our correspondent in Jalingo.
NAWOJ congratulated them for witnessing this year’s Eid El Kabir and called on them to imbibe and meditate on love, patience, alms giving and tolerance in line with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
She noted that the current economic situation nationwide is causing distress to Nigerians hence the need to improve on giving out to charity so as to assuage the pain of others.
She also used the medium to enjoin female Journalists to demonstrate love, tolerance and a helping hand especially to the need.
In light of the economic hardship, Aisha Ibrahim called on Government at all levels and every relevant authority to work towards bringing down the price of food commodities for the common good of the people.
