Gov Agbu commissions Daisy Danjuma Eye hospital in Takum

Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas on Friday commissioned the Senator Daisy Danjuma Eye Hospital Takum local Government Area of Taraba State.
Dr Agbu Kefas during the commissioning stated that the contributions of General TY Danjuma to the progress of Taraba state is highly commendable.
The Governor noted that eye hospital will provide quality and essential services to the communities while he prayed that God will reward the efforts of the Elder states man abundantly.
Speaking, Retired General TY Danjuma said Taraba State is blessed with so many gifts hence the need for peaceful coexistence among the populace in order to attract investors to the state.
The General also encouraged training of young minds in information technology, attitudinal change for the benefit of the state.
The Country Director, Development Africa, Mr Joshua Campeneer said the eye hospital is an extension of TY Danjuma foundation’s medical center and health services that has been in operation in the last three months with various services so far rendered at a highly subsidized rates.
Also, the National Coordinator, National Eye health programmes, Dr Oten Okolo, said national eye health programme is delighted with the Senator Daisy Danjuma Eye Hospital, stressing that it is a beacon of hope for the communities, the state and even beyond.
