Taraba ACReSAL set to officially launch SPMU project.

The Taraba state Agro-climatic Resilience in Semi Arid Landscape, ACReSAL, has announced plans to officially launch and commission the project in the state.
This was contained in a Press release signed by the communications officer, Emmanuel Njaprim and made available to Worldview in jalingo on Friday.
The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change who doubles as the Chairperson Taraba ACReSAL will be the Chief host at monumental event which according to the statement, will take place on the 20th and 21st of February,2024.
The Commissioning/Launching will include activities such as Commissioning of ACReSAL Secretariat Complex, Inspection of 50 hectares Afforestation Project at
Bakin Dutse, Inspection of Nursery Site in Jalingo LGA and Official handing over of Solar Powered Boreholes to Communities among others.
The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas will be the Special
Guest of Honour, while Mr. Shubhan Chaudhuri, Country Director World Bank, will serve as Special Guest, Dr. Joy lganya Agene, Task Team Lead for ACReSAL World Bank Project, will be the Guest of Honour.
Worldview gathered that the event will take place at the Taraba ACReSAL Project Secretariat, Ministry of Environment and
Climate Change.
