Wukari Traditional Council Disassociate Self From Three Day’s Ultimatum On Relocation Of Aku uka To Palace
The Wukari Traditional council has disassociated itself from a write up in Apex News Exclusive where three days ultimatum was issued to government to open up the the Aku Uka Palace or political activities will be suspended in Jukun land.
According to a press release issued by the Special Assistant to the Aku Uka on Media Jolly Masa Ibi the Wukari Traditional council observed that Jukun tradition is not tempered with and Wondered the publication.
The Release observed that the relocation of the Aku Uka to the palace takes place after several rites before purification of the palace.
The release noted that the Governor of the state has since approved funds for the renovation of the Aku Uka Palace and that work on it has started.
The Press Release also commended the Wukari local government and both youth and women association for speaking out on the publication.
It appealed to anyone wishing to publish anything relating to the palace to verify their informations with the traditional council before going to the press.
