Two die as strong wind storms community in Kurmi LG.

The recent windstorm in Bissaula community of Kurmi Local Government Area of Taraba State that claimed the lives of two people has left the residents crying for assistance from government and other able individuals in the state.

The windstorm that bedeviled the community on Wednesday destroyed the Christians Reformed Church of Nigeria, CRCN auditorium and properties worth millions of naira.

In a phone interview with the CRCN Pastor, Rev Bulus Aboshe, he revealed that the wind storm started few minutes after the mid-week service on Wednesday while it was still raining and the people were still in the church waiting for the rain to stop.

The man of God said that the incidence was a natural one and urged the people to not be discouraged at this time, bearing in mind that this is just a phase and it will pass.

The clergyman called on the government, Non Governmental Organizations, NGO’s and individuals to urgently come to their aid so as to raise another auditorium for the service of God and to alleviate the victims from their present predicament.

He also called on believers and the residents to remain strong and trust God especially in these moments of trying.
