Tiv community condoles with Wukari Traditional council over death of Parmount ruler

The Tiv Community in Wukari LGA under the umbrella of Tiv Cultural and Social Association TCSA, Wukari Local Government Chapter has commiserated with Wukari Traditional Council and the immidiate family of Late Aku-uka over the demised of His Royal Highness, Dr. Shakarau Angyu Masa-Ibi, Kuvyon ll.

The group equally commiserated with the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku, as well as the entire good people of Taraba State over the sad incidence.

Led by the chairman, TCSA Wukari Chapter, Mr. Anthony Shember, the group took a soberly walk into the palace of the late Royal father, where they were warmly received by traditional leaders and other critical stakeholders of the LGA.

Speaking on behalf of the deligation, Hon. Msuur Mtomga described the late Late Aku-uka as a foremost paramount ruler whose dexterity and good will can not be easily forgotten.

He said the demised of the Royal Father was a monumental lost not only to people of Taraba State but the entire people of Nigeria as a country.

Mr. Mtomga who recalled how the Royal father had spent sleepless nights over the crises between Jukun and Tiv in his domain during his reign, regretted that the sad incidence had robbed people of the area, an opportunity to benefit from the good plans and good initiatives of their Royal Father.

“I know the length we had discussed with our Royal Father as regard the crisis between Tiv and Jukun in this area. The Tiv community are deeply saddened by this shocking incidence. We will continue to miss him dearly. It is our earnest prayer that God in his infinite mercy will grant him eternal rest and the people and government of Taraba State as well as his immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”. He stated.

While responding On behalf of the Wukari Traditional Council and the immediate family of the Late Royal Father, Mr. Aji Bauka appreciated the Tiv community for identifying with Wukari traditional council and the family of the Late Royal father, at their moment of grief.

Aji Bauka advised both Jukun and the Tiv people to tolerate one another and also leave as their brother’s keepers in order to secure peaceful coexistence in the area.
