Taraba Printing press pleads with Governor Kefas over patronage

The Director, Taraba State Printing Press, Mallam Abubakar Aliyu has appealed to the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas to Prevail on all the Ministries and other Government Offices in the State to patronise the Goverment Printing Press inorder to revive the revenue that Taraba State Government was generating from the company in the previous years.
Mallam Abubakar Aliyu made this appeal while interacting with our reporter in Jalingo.
He stated that the Printing press was one of the best Printing Companies in the state but ironically, even government esterblishments in the state have completely forgotten about it as they do their Printing jobs with private esterblishments within and outside the state.
“Though we are not yet satisfied with the number of modern equipment that we desired to have in this Company, I assure you we are given out the best of services a Printing Company can offer. Unfortunately, even Government esterblishments including Ministries and Parastatals in the state do not patronise us.
“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas to Prevail on these Ministries and other government offices in the state to patronise us. By doing so, it will revive the the revenue that the government used to generate from this place in the previous years”. He stated.
While applauding the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas for hitting the ground running with mind-blowing policies in his first months in office, the Director said, the policies are capable of transforming the lives of common men in Taraba State.
He particularly identified the free education policy which was recently declared by the governor for both Primary and Secondary School levels and the slashing by half, school fees of the State University and School of Nursing and Midwifery, saying that the policies would go a long way to reduced the burden of most parents and households in the state.
The Director who called on the people of Taraba State to give the governor overwhelming support to succeed also charged youths in the state to desist from all forms of social vices especially now that the governor had decided to give them their needed attention during his administration.
He further encouraged organizations, associations, groups and individuals to patronise the Government Printing Press, adding that, satisfactory and effective services has always been their set goals at the Company.
