Taraba lawmaker Donates 1Million for Renovation of GDSS Pantisawa Exam Hall

The law maker representing Yorro constituency at the Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon. Joseph Kassong Kanoh, has donated a whooping sum of one million naira for the renovation of Government Day Secondary School Pantisawa Exams hall in Yoro LGA of Taraba State.

This gesture is part of his efforts to fulfill his campaign promises to the people of his Constituency.

The law maker who was the Deputy Head boy of the institution in 1987 is also, currently drilling 10 new boreholes, and he built market at Gada-lashede.
This developments are coming after he had earlier renovated over 34 existing boreholes across his constituency.

Speaking with our reporter recently, the law maker stated that his aim was to improve the lives of his constituents by providing essential amenities.

Hon. Kanoh further expressed his gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for his support, highlighting the governor’s fairness and generosity in ensuring the progress of Taraba State, despite being from a different political party.

 

“The governor’s fairness needs to be commended. Despite the fact that I was elected under a different political party, he always listen to me on issues that borders on the development of my constituency”. He added

The lawmaker called on the people of the constituency in particular and the entire state at large, to remain peaceful and support Governor Agbu Kefas to enable him continue with his developmental strides in the state

Meanwhile, most residents of Yorro Local Government Area who spoke with our reporter, commended Hon. Kanoh for fulfilling his campaign promises, praying that God should reward him for his selfless service.

They acknowledged that Yorro had never experienced such quality representation, which has brought significant development to the area.
