The Caretaker Chairman, Taraba State All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr. Ibrahim Tukur El-sudi has faulted all the claims by Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, the Political Adviser to the Taraba State Governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku over his unfitness to criticize Ishaku and the PDP led government in Taraba State.

El-sudi disclosed this in his office during an interview with Worldview Magazine team.

He stated that once you are on the top, you will become a topic and so there was no reason for the political Adviser of the Governor Alh. Abubakar Bawa to be so furious when he told his pay master the truth about injustices he is perpetrating to the good people of Taraba State.

El-sudi who cited President Muhammadu Buhari as an example, stated that

“President Muhammadu Buhari is been lambasted and lampooned on daily bases by different individuals from all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria but he had never uttered a word in reply. He is an elderly person, older than even the Governor Darius Ishaku.

“So if you don’t want to be abused, if you don’t want a small boy to tell you the truth, don’t join politics or resign and go back to your house. Nobody will go to your house and tell you that you are a liar or abuse your parents”. He added.

On the issue of myself not being educated and politically experienced up to his pay master, the governor. “I don’t know the bases of comparison he is using. The governor is an Architect while I am a Lawyer. So does it even mean that the ninety five percent illiterates that voted for the governor in power has no right to question his governance?

“So immediately after the elections, they would have kept quiet because their standard of education is not up to that of the governor, only doctors and professors can challenge or criticize the government? That is not politics. I mean that is not democracy”.

“As far as experience is concern, every Taraban know that his pay master came to prominence or into politics between 2012 and 2013. That was when he became a minister. As at that time he should not forget that I was already a member of the House of Representatives and the same governor appeared before one of my committees which was committee on power and I protected him very well. I will not talk about my joining politics in 1990 and my various contests”. He narrated’

While emphasizing his popularity and prominence in the Taraba State political arena, the APC boss noted that if a hundred of prominent politicians in the state are gathered, he would be able to call over 50 of them by their names but he was not sure that if all the Exco members in Taraba State Government are gathered, Alh. Bawa’s pay master would be able to name even ten out of them.

“So as far as political experience is concern, let the people of Taraba State judge”. He stated.

The Acting chairman charged the PDP led government to come out and spell in clear terms, the level of qualification and the age which Tarabans must attain before they will criticize Governor Ishaku and his PDP led administration.

Recall that recently the APC boss had gone to the media, where he described Governor Ishaku as a pathological liar because of what he referred to as falsely claim of some projects in the state and in a swift action, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, the Political Adviser to the Governor had retorted, stating that the APC boss was unfit to criticize Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku and his PDP led administration.
