PUBLISHER TASKS STUDENTS ON DISCIPLINE

Worldview Magazine publisher, Williams Ayooso, has charged Industrial Training students to discipline themselves in order to learn more from their instructors.

Mr. Williams gave this charge during an orientation session organized by Worldview Magazine for students of Kwararafa University who came for a one month Industrial Training at the organization’s head office in Jalingo.

He stated that when students becomes unnecessarily arrogant, they missed alot from people who have enough knowledge to impact in them and thus, remain at the disadvantaged side.

The publisher congratulated the students especially the ladies among them for the resilience and commitment they put into studies which had endeared them to their present level of education and urged them to keep the spirit up.

“As journalists, I want to also tell you that you must dress well. There is no doubt about the adage which states that “you are addressed the way you dressed.

“As people who interact with people of high status and diverse guests, you must learn how to dress well.

“You also have to respect your instructors. Respecting them will propel them to give you the best and you will go home with alot of stocks that will distinguished you among your colleagues”. He added.

In their separate goodwill messages, the Editor, Worldview Magazine Mr. Jethro Yerga and his assistant, Miss Christiana Babayo, all charged the students to feel free and relate openly with them so that they would continue to learn under a friendly and jovial atmosphere.

“You are in the right place with the right people. All you need do is to cooperate and relate with us freely. Ask us questions anyhow and anywhere you meet us and we will attend to you. But we will not condone a situation where students unnecessarily become stubborn.

“So as long as we relate well, we assure you that you will never go back regretting been at Worldview Magazine”. The editor assured the IT Students.

Earlier in an opening remark, the Head of Marketing and strategy, Worldview Magazine, Mr. Ufeh Torbiliji Tor, encouraged the students to cultivate the spirit of curiosity to learn new things so that they would not go back the same.

He challenged the students to always listen to their instructors and cooperate with them, adding that where ever there is disparity between an instructor and a learner, the learning environment would be automatically polluted
