NSCDC TARABA COMMAND DEPLOYS 1500 PERSONNEL FOR EID EL KABIR CELEBRATION

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC, Taraba State Command has deployed a total of one thousand five hundred (1,500) personnel to intensify surveillance and security of lives and proper during the Eid El Kabir celebration across Taraba state.

The Commandant, Adamu Salihu, disclosed this development while addressing newsmen at the State Command Headquarters Jalingo.

He said the deployment became necessary to provide adequate security cover for worshippers at the Eid grounds as well as protect critical national assets during and after the Sallah celebrations.

The NSCDC boss reiterated that deployments had been made to all flash points, prayer grounds, and other important critical national infrastructures across the state to ensure the safety of lives and properties.

While felicitating  with the Muslim Ummah, the Commandant called on them to imbibe the virtues of love and sacrifice which are the cardinal lessons of the Eid El Kabir.

“The Eid El Kabir teaches us the lessons of sacrifice and love which are the two virtues our country is in dire need of. We must love one another and make sacrifices especially in these difficult times so that we can move our great country forward”. He stated

Adamu who emphasized that peace has no alternative, warned all criminal elements parading in the state to shun their craft and embrace legal and gainful ventures in order to make ends meet, even as he prayed for a peaceful Eid El Kabir celebration across Taraba state.
