NEGYIHDS pay courtesy visit to Bali Chair, Lamdo Bakundi, Fed Poly Bursar.

The North East Global Youth Initiative and Humanitarian Development Services NEGYIHDS, on Tuesday paid a solidarity Peace visit to the good people of Bali Local Government area of Taraba State.
The team which was led by the National Chairman of the NEGYIHDS, Amb. Hope Daniel Vyonku visited the Chairman Bali LGA Prince Musa Mamoud, the bursar of the Federal Polytechnic Bali, Abdu Yakubu Mohammed, and the Lamdo Bakundi, HRH Kabiru Gidado Musa respectively to show solidarity and bestow awards on the Bursar and Lamdo Bakundi.
While at the Lamdo’s palace where the award was presented to the bursar and a tittle to the Lamdo Bakundi, Comr Hope commended the efforts of the duo towards students’ welfare, their contributions towards youth, humanitarian initiatives as well as service in the academia over the years.
Amb. Hope recalled that during the last Youth and students leaders training and summit in Yola Adamawa state last week where Youth leaders from the Six states met to discuss insecurity and curbing crime in the North East Nigeria, the Adamawa state Commissioner for Education, Hon Wilbina Jackson recommended the bursar and others that birth the reason for the courtesy call and the award.
The Lamdo Bakundi who presented the award of Leadership Service Award to Alh. Abdu Yakubu Mohammed on behalf of the visiting team, was also crowned with a tittle as ‘Peace Ambassador’ by the NEGYIHDS.
The tittle according to Amb. Hope, was a symbol of partnership between the initiative and the Lamdo Bakundi and also a way for the initiative to train youth in the area and beyond on peace and conflict resolution as peace is now the bedrock on which all human endeavor thrives.
In his response, the Lamdo Bakundi appreciated the visiting team and applauded the initiative to present the award of Leadership Service Award to the bursar, stressing that he is also aware of the efforts of the bursar in the academia and even beyond.
The Bursar, Abdu Yakubu Mohammed on his part appreciated the Lamdo Bakundi Bali and the North East Global Youth Initiative and Humanitarian Development Services (NEGYIHDS) for finding him worthy out of millions of leaders to commend his role as Leader and inducting him into hall of Fame for the Youth in our society.
“I am deeply honored and pleased with this presentation here today. I wat to thank the Lamdo and the NEGYIHDS for the honor they have bestowed upon me today. I promise you all that I will double up my efforts because this is a challenge. Everyone has a way of supporting and playing his role in life that’s why I am doing what I consider necessary for the society because we must give back to society what society has given to us” he said.
Meanwhile the team also commended Prince Musa Mamoud, Executive Chairman Bali Local Government Area, for the efforts he is making to maintain peace in the area while informing him of their plans to host the forth coming central Taraba Youth Summit and Leadership entrepreneur training in the Local Government.
