
NASS CLERK SHOWERS ENCOMIUMS,
AS FELIX ORUMWENSE BOWS OUT OF SERVICE

The Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Magaji Tambuwal yesterday showers encomiums on Felix Orumwense who retired as the Secretary, Directorate of Inter-parliamentary Relations and Protocol of the National Assembly.
His retirement was greeted by National Assembly staffs and family members including the CNA. The occasion was organized at the senate wing of the National Assembly by the clerk to the National Assembly and his Departmental staff.
Tambuwal described Felix as a good man who dedicated his time and SERVICE to the National assembly with all his heart. According to him, his encounter with Felix was when he was posted as the Director of pension and life assurance. Adding that he never found fault in him and he was respectful.
Tambuwal said the National Assembly will miss him for his positive energy expended throughout his service. He described Felix as the most traveled Secretary of the National Assembly based on his responsibility.
He continued “I will not conclude without the Madam”. (Felix’s wife). He advised her to continue her good relationship with her husband.
On the same path, Bassey Olusegun Eto, a Federal Commissioner, of the National Assembly Commission, South, South said Felix’s exiting from the service is a mixed feeling, as he said “It’s a mixed feeling that he is going away, while Felix served here, I have known him when he was a Director, before he was made Secretary, he served as Secretary of Human Resources he excelled before he went to inter-parliamentary and he excelled. It’s not many human beings that excel in all areas you allocate them. We are going to still call him back to tap from his wealth of experience,”
Commissioner Eto further advised those still in service to emulate the outgoing Secretary, so, they could retire Well. He said Felix is loved by people because he is a daring person who carries everybody along.
