KWARARAFA UNIVERSITY MULLS ON
SIGNING MOU WITH WORLDVIEW MAGAZINE

Kwararafa University Wukari has agreed to sign a Momerandum Of Uderstanding (MOU) with Worldview Magazine on the training of journalists in Taraba State.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Sunday Paul Bako stated this when the Management and staff of Worldview Magazine paid a courtesy call to the university.
The Vice Chancellor revealed that when students of Kwararafa University came back from Worldview Magazine after one month of Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) in Jalingo, they expressed and demonstrated a lot of practical experience that convinced the school management to partner with the Media house in the upbringing of journalists in the state.
“We will initiate a formal arrangement with your Organization to see how best we can unanimously train students from the Department of Mass Communication in our School to become veteran Journalists.
“We know that after all, it is two-way traffic. When we train them in the school theoretically, we will send them to you to stay for a while and acquire the practical aspect of the profession. If at all they are good at it, your Organization may offer them appointment at the end of their programme”.
He stated.
Earlier in his speech, the Editor in Chief, Worldview Magazine, Mr. Williams Ayooso said the management and Staff of the Worldview Magazine were in the university for a familiarization visit.
He applauded the management of Kwararafa University on the resilience and dogedness towards insuring that the school sustains its existence despite all the challenges confronting the school.
Meanwhile, the visiting theme of the Worldview Magazine which was warmly received by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sunday Paul Bako in company of the Registrar of the University Mr Nwubu Joshua and the HOD of the Department of Mass Communication, Dr. Thomas Uza comprises of the Editor in Chief, Mr. Williams Ayooso, Group Managing Editor Chief Simon Ira Maiyaki, Head of Administration and Strategy, Prince Ufeh Torbiliji, Chairman and Secretary of the Worldview Magazine Chapel NUJ, Taraba State Council Comr. Jethro Yerga and Comr. Christiana Babayo respectively among many others
