JEZCO Oil Empowers KekeNapep Riders with New Tricycles,Cash in Adamawa

The Chairman of JEZCO Oil Nigeria Limited, West Africa, Chief Joseph Julius Eze Okafor, has empowered twenty (20) KekeNapep riders in Yola, Adamawa State with brand‑new tricycles and cash awards ranging from fifty to five hundred thousand (50,000 – 500,000)

The initiative was announced by the company’s Yola branch manager, Mr. Oyebuchi Anthony Okeke, who represented Chief Eze Okafor at the ceremony held in Yola.

Okeke explained that the program aims to tackle unemployment and poverty, which have been exacerbated by the state’s ongoing security challenges.

“Our chairman has the poor at heart and is always ready to empower them,” he said, adding that the gesture is intended to be an annual effort to uplift vulnerable communities.

The beneficiaries were selected based on their patronage of JEZCO Oil stations over the past year. A total of 20 KekeNapep riders received brand‑new tricycles, while additional participants were awarded cash prizes.

He emphasized that the empowerment drive is part of a broader corporate social responsibility strategy to foster economic stability in Adamawa.

“We promised last year that those who consistently patronized JEZCO Oil would be rewarded, and today we are fulfilling that promise,” he noted.

Speaking further,Mr.Okeke disclosed that the initiative is just the beginning of a sustained effort. “This gesture will be repeated yearly to ensure continuous support for our communities,” he affirmed, encouraging other businesses to adopt similar models.

The JEZCO Oil empowerment program marks a significant step toward fostering resilience and self‑reliance among KekeNapep operators in Yola, reflecting the company’s dedication to community development and sustainable growth.
