JAMB Announces Registration Date for UTME

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the dates for registration and examination for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The announcement was made by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, during a meeting with media executives in Lagos.
According to Prof. Oloyede, prospective candidates can begin registration on January 31, 2025, and the process will end on March 5, 2025.
The UTME examination is scheduled to commence on March 8, 2025. A mock examination has been scheduled for February 23, 2025, for candidates who wish to participate.
To ensure a smooth registration process, JAMB has urged all candidates to fulfill the mandatory requirements, including providing their National Identification Number (NIN).
The NIN will be used to create a profile code, which candidates can obtain by sending their NIN via text to either 55019 or 66019.
The registration fees for the UTME vary depending on the category. Candidates who opt to include the mock examination as part of their UTME registration will pay N8,200, while those who wish to sit for the UTME only will pay N7,200. Candidates registering for Direct Entry (DE) will pay N5,700.
