INSECURITY: KURUDU DISTRICT HEAD TASK FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON JOBS CREATION FOR YOUTHS

The District head of Kurudu in the Federal Capital Territory , Chief Ezra Gomna has called on the federal government as a matter of urgency to create jobs for the terming unemployed youths in order to reduce the rising tension of insecurity in the country.
Speaking to journalist in Abuja, chief Gomna said a large army of unemployed youths is dangerous and not healthy for a country like Nigeria.
According to him,
unemployment have become a major problem bedeviling our country Nigeria, and if not control it will led to disaster more than what we are experiencing at the moment.
He said the youths are idle without job and money to cater for their needs ,which means they are hungry and angry and are willing to do any thing that will give them money to spend because they have life to live .
According to him, the increasing rate of kidnapping ,militancy ,rapping and violent , criminality as well as cultism is a direct result of unemployment, which the government needs to addressed before immediately .
Chief Gomna explained that , the numbers of idle youths are on the increase on a yearly basis which is worrisome and terrifying .
Saying that the idle youths have resorted to drinking spirited alcohol and drugs which are motivational for criminality ,rapping and kidnappings ,
adding that alcohol business is booming every where said chief Gomna.
‘ I took a walk one day around my area and saw one okade man, I asked him if he was okada man because he look different , he said yes ,I then told him that he look different he told me that he was a graduate for five years and is married with children and without job that is why he is managing okada to survive .
Chief Gomna said ,this kind of man will be easily converted to criminality at a very low cost , because he has family to feed.”said chief Gomna.
He therefore appealed to the federal government to do something urgently because the lives of the people are in danger as nobody is save .
He added that the country need to take a drastic step to this issue because it is very important because an idle man is a devil workshop .
Saying Kurudu is peaceful with no crime but the internal roads are very bad which needs construction
