HOPE: “I HAVE WHAT THE YOUTHS NEED IN THEIR LEADER”
Comrade Hope Daniel Vyonku has said that he has possessed the qualities that the Youths of Taraba state needs a leader.
Hope Daniel Vyonku is an aspirant for the seat of the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria.
Hope who spoke to our correspondents recently in Jalingo said the youths of Taraba State knows what they want in a leader and that he possessed the qualities.
“I am coming to youth council to rebrand, rebuild and restore back its lost image. I’m coming to Youth Council to make peace, to bring every aggrieved member that has lost confidence in Youth Council. We want to be the youth that the elders will have confidence in. That’s why my campaign is tagged “I believe in hope.” He explained.
He faulted the intention of the present Chairman of the NYCN Taraba state chapter Comr. Udi Pastore for contesting for the seat again, saying it is unconstitutional. “He is not eligible constitutionally. And if the electoral body knows their jobs, he will be screened out” He said.
He appealed to the youths of Taraba State to repose their confidence in his wealth of experience, vision and leadership qualities, which he said, can reshape the prospects of the youths in the state.
Hope, who hails from Wukari LGA of Taraba state has held several positions. He was the Vice President Student Union Government Adamawa State Polytechnic, Welfare Director (NUTASS) National Union of Taraba State Students. State Chairman (NEYIF) North East Youth Initiative Forum Taraba. National President (NAJUS) National Association of Jukun Students, Kwararafa Kingdom. National President (NUTASS) National Union of Taraba State Students. National Secretary, PDP Students Association of Nigeria (SAN). Convener DDI 2019 Campaign Darius Students Campus Connect (DSCC) among others roles.
He also has many awards, including Award of Excellence by: Department of Business Administration TSUJ-2018. Merit award by: Klub Prestige TSUJ-2017.Award of service & excellence by: Student Union Government (SUG) TUSJ 2017.Excellent Service Award by: Students Union Government (SUG) FUTY 2009, among others.
