Group honors TACA, DG with merit awards of excellence, peace, integrity.

A peace advocacy group known as, Centre for Peace and Self Values Re-orientation (CPSVR) has presented merit award to the Taraba State Aids Control Agency (TACA) as one of the most Ethically Responsible and Outstanding Agency.

Similarly, the Group conferred honorary Award to the Director General of TACA Dr. Bako Ali Istifanus as, ‘ Ambassador of Peace Integrity’.

Presenting the award at the Agency’s Auditorium, the Executive Director of the group, Comr. Abraham Abubakar Oyibo, commended TACA for her outstanding performances especially in the control of AIDS in the state.

He equally commended Dr. Bako Ali for his peace initiatives and excellent performance, urging him to keep up the good work he is doing for the growth of TACA and the well-being of Tarabans.

Dr. Ali Bako while receiving the Award, lauded Comr. Abraham Abubakar Oyibo and his team for finding him worthy of the award while reinstating his unwavering commitment to do more for peace and development in TACA and the state to compliment the Moving Forward mantra of His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas.

He further dedicated the award to his family and staff team stating that, their unyielding support and cooperation, earned him the recognition and honor.

“It is a thing of joy to witness this great day and moment, this would not being possible without your support and cooperation.

“I am sincerely grateful to God for allowing me to be alive and witness this great day and moment, I do not take this award for granted and I want to assure you that we will continue the integrity and standard of TACA, “he assured.

On his part the Director Administration and Secretary, TACA Mr.Sa’ad Abubakar S. While receiving the award on behalf of the Agency, thanked and appreciated the Executive Director of the Group for such great honor conferred on TACA and her DG stating, they will continue to work hard to keep the good name.

“This award is a motivation for us to do more. We will continue to work tirelessly to uplift the standard and as well, consolidate State Government’s efforts to better lives,”he said.
