Eid-El-Kabir:Chief of Dakka sues for tolerance among Muslim Ummah.

The Chief of Dakka, in Bali Local Government Area, Taraba State, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliyu Yusuf Manga, has call for tolerance among people as part of his message for the Muslim Ummah during the Eid Celebrations.

The Monarch who made the call while chatting with journalists in his palace after observing this year Eid el Kabir prayers urged Tarabans particularly Muslims faithful to peacefully coexist with one another and imbibe the lessons of the sacrifice made by the prophet Ibrahim.

The Royal Father, enjoined the people to make good use of their diversity, noting that Allah created human beings of different tribes, race and religion for a purpose, hence people must work together to build a prosperous and harmonious society.

He further called on government to continue synergizing with the royal fathers in all developmental policies.

While congratulating the Muslims faithful, the Chief, emphasized the importance of submitting to the Almighty Allah and prioritising spiritual wellbeing over worldly desires.

Earlier His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliyu Yusuf Manga, arrived the Dakka Eid praying ground alongside districts heads and other dignitaries, where the 2 rakaats prayer led by the Chief imam of Dakka central mosque, Malam Sa’ad Isa, were observed.

The Chief Imam admonished the Muslims faithful to live in peace and harmony with one another for the progress of the area and the nation at large. He prayed to Allah to make peace, unity and progress permanent in the locality and the nation in general, urging people to unite and work for the progress of the state.

Meanwhile in his Sallah message, the district head of Gangdole Alhaji Bilyaminu Yusuf Manga, wished every muslim a happy Eid celebration and prayed for Allah’s protection and safety for everyone during and after the celebration.

In the same vein, a philanthropist, Alhaji Abubakar Audi, (Bobbo Habu) called on people in the area to use the occasion of the Eid to demonstrate sacrifice, love and peace, he stressed that the celebration of Eid as stated in the Quran, was not merely a fanfare but an admonition to the people to have forbearance and show compassion in every situation.

The Eid celebration marks the culmination of the Hajj, which is celebrated by muslims throughout the world, is to commemorate prophet Ibrahim willingness to sacrifice his son ( prophet Ismail) in obedience to fulfill the command from Allah (s.w.t)
