Eid-El-Kabir: Gov Ishaku, Deputy, charges Muslim Ummah to observe all COVID-19 Preventive Measures.

Taraba state Governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku and his deputy,Engr. Haruna Manu has charged the Muslim faithfuls to adhere strictly to the COVID19 preventive measures even as they join the rest of the world to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir.
Gov Ishaku also congratulated them for scaling through these trying times, particularly with the COVID19 pandemic that has thrown the entire world into chaos and also warned that with the global statistics of the disaster caused by the virus, the world is yet to be free from it.
He further urged them to remain steadfast in their prayers against the pandemic while adhering to all precautionary measures.
The deputy Governor, Haruna Manu, who spoke after observing prayers at the Eid ground in Jalingo, the state capital, commended residents of the state for their unwavering confidence and support in the efforts of the state government in the fight against COVID-19.
Manu, explained that strict adherence to all COVID-19 protocols across the state compelled the state government to allow the gathering of faithfuls at the Eid ground.
He also pleaded that they continue with this spirit even as they celebrate in their homes.
“this Sallah celebration is unique because we have celebrated it in low key due to the COVID-19 pandemic,I also am appealing to the Muslim Ummah to pray against further spread of the disease not only in Taraba but all over the world.” He said.
