Education: Taraba Varsity slashes fee by 50% for Postgraduate students.

The Vice Chancellor Taraba State University, Prof. Paul Sunday Bako has ordered for immediate reduction of 50% in the fees of Post Graduate Students (PGD, Masters and Ph.D.).
This was contained in a circular signed on the 14 of June, 2024 by the Acting Provost (College of Postgraduate Studies), Taraba state University, Jalingo Dr. Christian Igomu Amuche and released today June 18 on the official portal of the University.
The statement read, ”Taraba state University, Jalingo college of Postgraduate studies reviewed schedule of Fees for post Graduate Students (PGD, MASTERS and PHD.)”.
The notice clearly indicates that, the reduction will take effect from the 2023/2024 Academic Session.
Recall that upon assumption of office as Governor of Taraba state, Dr. Agbu Kefas had last year, ordered for reduction of tuition for undergraduate programs to ameliorate the challenges of the harsh Economy. This development is part of compliance with the Governor’s orders.
