BSN inducts Taraba NUJ chair, wife as official members

Bible Society of Nigeria, BSN has officially inducted Comrade Mathew Eliud Jen, Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Taraba State Council and his wife, Mrs Suzzy Mathew Eliud Jen as members of the Bible Society

The induction exercise which was conducted by officials of BSN, Taraba State Chapter at EKAN gospel Church in Jalingo, placed the Taraba NUJ boss at a monthly support status of twelve thousand Naira annually to the organization.

Speaking shortly after decorating the two new members, Hon Doctor Filister Irarimam Musa, Chairman, BSN Taraba State Chapter and Commissioner, Ministry of Social Justice, who was represented by her Vice, Ande Yusuf, called on Christians in the state to register with BSN to enhance distribution of Bible Copies to the people

The Yar Amanar Mumuyawa, stated that the Bible Society of Nigeria is an interdenominational organization, working tirelessly to distribute Bible Copies and support its production to reach out to many Christians in the society.

She revealed that the Taraba State Chapter had been mandated to annually distribute seven thousand Bible copies to the people, lamenting that the task had not been adequately handled

In his comment, Comrade Mathew Eliud Jen appreciated the BSN, Taraba State Chapter for the recognition, pledging that he would not rest on his oars in support for the propagation of the gospel.

Comrade Mathew Jen who canvassed support from Christians to register and be part of those championing the course of distribution of Bible Copies, appreciated friends and associates who graced the event and prayed God to bless them bountifully.

In a sermon at the church, the resident Pastor of EKAN Good news Church Jalingo, Reverend Ayuba Tijos, urged Christians not to worry about life’s Challenges, stressing that those who believe Jesus Christ, would neither be disappointed nor perished from the bondage of sin

Reverend Ayuba who tagged the message, “You Have No Course to Worry”, noted that the reason for Jesus resurrection brought salvation to all mankind, urging christians to accept Jesus’ Salvation.

“Christians must remain steadfast in their faith in God and His Services. Those who are worrying about challenges of life are those yet to have Jesus’ salvation”. He said
