Body of Missing 22-Year-Old Found Days After Flood in Jalingo.

The body of 22-year-old Muddasir, who went missing during last Friday’s flooding in the Do Mayo area of Jalingo, has been found.
His remains were discovered on Monday at the Nukkai River, located several kilometers from the site of the flood incident.
The body was subsequently handed over to his family and buried according to Islamic traditions.
The father of the deceased described the loss as both sudden and heartbreaking, calling on the Federal Government to implement urgent and long-term solutions to prevent future tragedies.
A community leader from Do Mayo also expressed deep grief, stressing the need for both state and federal authorities to act swiftly in addressing the frequent floods that continue to threaten lives and communities in Taraba State and beyond.
