Benue: NAPPS innaugurates pioneer officials in charge of Kyado unit.

The Ukum Chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Benue State, has inaugurated pioneer officials to pilot the affairs of Kyado Unit of the association in Ukum Local Government Area.
At a well attended occasion set aside specifically for the inauguration, the association sworn-in Mr. Ushahemba John as the chairman of the Unit, Michael Ukpen as secretary and Ode Ajene as the treasurer.
Also sworn-in were Terlumun Hemenga as the financial secretary and Tidue Mtagher as Public Relation Officer PRO respectively.
Addressing the newly inaugurated officials and the mammoth crowd that turned up for the event which held at Gladys college Kyado, the chairman of NAPPS, Ukum local government chapter, Hon. Jack T. Saalu, applauded the baby unit for demonstrating an unimaginable unity and focus towards impacting positively in the lives of the students whom he described as future leaders and pride of humanity.
The chairman who described Kyado Unit as one of the most organized units of NAPPS in the Local Government, encouraged all members of the association to continue in the unity and love for one another, adding that officials of the association at the Local Government level had taken note of the good and workable decisions the unit had been making to speed up its growth.
“Am happy to be identified with Kyado unit not only because am the chairman, but I can also boast of the fact that this is my maternal home. Am also very proud of this unit because the unit is very organized. Even as a baby unit, it has been making far reaching decisions that will enable it to grow fast and so am happy because of these reasons”. He stated.
Hon. Jack further presented a copy of Constitution of the association which is titled “green book” to the newly inaugurated officials, and advised them and other members of the association to always stick to the provisions of the Constitution and use it as a guide to their conduct in order to sustain the set goals and objectives of the association in the Local Government, state and the whole country at large.
The chairman further called on the newly esterblished private schools operating within the limit of Kyado unit to make haste and get registered as members of the association, emphasizing that “Unity is strength”.
While responding on behalf of the other newly inaugurated officials, the chairman of Kyado Unit, Mr Ushahemba John, appreciated members of the Unit for finding them worthy to pilot the affairs of the unit and pledged that they would do everything possible to justify the confidence reposed in them.
Mr. Ushahemba also lauded the various efforts the officials of Ukum Chapter of NAPPS, under the leadership of Hon. Jack T. Saalu had been making to keep members of the association together and to move the association to greater height and called on members of his unit to cooperate with his EXCO and give it maximum support to enable it complement the efforts of the Local Government Exco.
Our correspondent who witnessed the event, reported that members of NAPPS, Kyado unit, at the occasion, unanimously nominated Mr Tsav Aondohemba, the Acting Proprietor of Precious College Kyado, to fill the vacant position of Public Relation Officer at the EXCO of NAPPS, Ukum local government chapter of Benue State and he would be inaugurated in due course.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by many dignitaries including the chairman NAPPS, Ukum local government Chapter, Hon. Jack T. Saalu, the Vice chairman, NAPPS Ukum local government chapter, Pastor Jude Onuah, the Secretary General, Mr Sani Muhammad as well as members and non members of NAPPS in Kyado unit.
