Autan Zaki Honoured as Africa’s Youths Icon

Eminent Arewa Gospel Artist Autan Zaki has been recognized as Africa’s Youths Icon. This prestigious award was conferred upon him in Uganda during the Global Leadership Summit and Youth Empowerment Programme, a convergence of outstanding leaders, youth advocates, and change-makers worldwide.

The award acknowledges his exceptional contributions and unwavering commitment to youth development. Upon receiving the award, Autan Zaki expressed appreciation to the global community for this honour and reaffirmed his commitment to youth development and advocacy in Taraba, Nigeria, and globally.

He also thanked the organizers for the opportunity to represent Taraba, Nigeria, and Africa at this prominent international event, which brought together distinguished individuals from the Bahamas, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other nations.

Autan Zaki noted that his two-week journey through Ethiopia and Uganda was marked by impactful discussions, strategic engagement, and a strong representation of Africa’s excellence on the global stage.

“This achievement is not merely a personal victory but a testament to the remarkable work I have been undertaking in the realms of youth development, empowerment, and leadership. With this honour, I reiterate my commitment to creating more opportunities that will inspire the younger generation to thrive.”

He dedicated the award to God and his family and expressed gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, Governor of Taraba State, for his mentorship, unwavering support, and love for youth development in Taraba State.

He assured the state that the award would spur him to do more for the progress of youth development in the state and the country at large.
